I read this book several years ago after a I got divorced in a male blood-fueled attempt to recapture machismo and return to the cattle market - along with a stack of similar recommends and hero-factor volumes.

I enjoyed it a lot and Robert Glover comes across as a wise and kind hand instead of merely writing books on how to 'pull' women for his own self of financial interests, especially as I previously read No More Mr. Nice Guy that's even more helpful for reminding you not to worry about pleasing everybody all the time.

To get what you want you're going to p*ss some people off, even if it involves telling a friend to tone down their opinions a bit for bawling into your ear all night - there's one thing being a nice guy (or trying to be a better one) and another being a punch bag.

Going back to 'Dating Essentials', it's rather cliché and not really my style (especially at my age) with its pestering scattergun approach, but for what it is, a good book and helpful because Robert Glover is a pal who wishes you greater happiness by being less squeamish and self-conscious for being a man.

A recommended book for single young men who need more confidence.
