ACCOR GROUP
Accor run thousands of hotels around the world, and if you've stayed in one of their accommodations in Brazil or Portugal, the English advertising content has probably been checked and edited by me, originally machine translated from Portuguese.
I rewrite content for copy and space and to cut out the clutter.
AMAZON
Have you ever bought a product from an Amazon website?
Product descriptions are converted into English and that's where I come in, to QA the content before it's converted into English for online publication.
I QA the content for Amazon.com.br (Brazil) and Amazon.com.mx (Mexico).
META
(Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger)
All of the content for Meta's four platforms is produced in American English (EN_US) and converted by AI into every language around the world.
I LQA American English into British English (EN_GB) for the UK market. If you use Facebook in England, for example, it may have been checked and localized by me.
LENOVO (Motorola Mobility)
As with Meta, core Lenovo content is written and edited in US English, and if you own a Motorola mobile phone in the UK, your screen content could have been verified by me.
MQM Suite
Book translations are increasingly being handled by AI.
MQM Suite underlines small sections of text in source and target languages, grades them, and explains why changes are needed.
The AI learns from this and produces better future conversions, in my case originally published in Portuguese.
