ACCOR GROUP
Accor run thousands of hotels around the world, and if you've stayed in one of their accommodations in Brazil or Portugal, the English content may have been checked and edited by me, originally machine translated from Portuguese.
I rewrite content for better copy, accuracy, space and to cut out clutter.
AMAZON
Have you ever bought a product on an Amazon website?
Product descriptions are converted into English and that's where I come in, to QA the content before it's definitively converted into English for online use.
I QA the content for Amazon.com.br (Brazil) and Amazon.com.mx (Mexico).
I also regularly work on the Amazon Translation Management System (ATMS) to QA translations before going live.
META
(Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger)
Much of the content for Meta's four platforms is produced in American English (EN_US) and converted by AI into every language around the world.
I LQA American English into British English (EN_GB) for the UK market. If you use Facebook in England, for example, it may have been checked and localized by me.
LENOVO (Motorola Mobility)
As with Meta, core Lenovo content is usually written and edited in US English, and if you own a Motorola mobile phone in the UK, its content could have been verified by me.
As with Amazon and Meta, Lenovo has its own dedicated QA platform with verified login and credentials required.
MQM Suite
Book translations are increasingly being auto-translated and then output for QA and enhanced AI training on the MQM Suite.
Excerpts are chosen, with small sections of text in the source and target languages then underlined, graded and justified.
AI learns from this and produces better conversions.
