The Beach is an exciting thriller about a group of young people who travel to Thailand and discover a utopian Island and an alternative way of life.
Things are not quite what they seem, with a constant bubble-breaking threat lurking in the background.
The Beach is fast-paced, scary and unnerving and has overtones of The Lord of Flies about it, gradually switching from utopia into dystopia.
