Porn and Glamour

Porn, glamour and sex addiction are bad for you, right?

Not a word of it!

Wanting and needing to have sex is the most natural thing in the world and always will be.

There is nothing wrong with it and there's nothing dirty or sinful going on either. If you believe otherwise then you have some serious toxic-shame pre-programming to get out of your system.

The problem is you can get addicted to sex like anything else. And when you get addicted, what happens? You indulge in these habits when you don't really feel like it, when it's not convenient or when you're plain tired, bored or depressed.

Something that's wonderful can become mundane and depressing because you have no control. Sex addiction can take control of your life.

And when you no longer have control, you feel bad about yourself, don't go out, socialise, produce anything worthwhile or feel happy.

But rest assured, there is nothing wrong with sex, porn, glamour or whatever sexual desire takes your fancy. It's a basic need that cannot be controlled or overcome during your healthy lifetime.

You therefore have to accept who you are instead of being ashamed for liking sex and related content. If, like me, you like beautiful women, keep on doing so, give them compliments and enjoy their company - or whatever orientation takes your fancy - but learn to give yourself a break from constantly tuning into sex, glamour and porn.

That's as simple as it gets for sex addiction. Learn to give yourself a break. You are not a slave to your addiction. Get some space.

Like any type of addiction, it takes up time, effort and money. If you're not enjoying it, why? If you're playing videogames all day you've got a similar issue because you don't have much time for anything else. Sex addiction is the same thing. Your desires will never stop, but you should never feel ashamed of those desires or who you are!

The objective is not to become unsexed, neutral or celibate, but to balance out your mind and enjoy other things as well. The porn and glamour industries exist for a reason. They are legal and cater for an audience looking for sexual entertainment.

But when you have the willpower to say I don't need that right now, it's worth a million dollars, more than a billion dollars. Accept some truths. Sex is great and you should not deny yourself the pleasure or personal enjoyment that is for you to appreciate however you wish, but neither grind your nose in it until you're fed up. That's addiction, sex addiction. Spanking the monkey when you don't always feel like it. A habit for the sake of it.

Get over sex addiction by giving yourself a break from time to time.
