This was a big thing back in the 1990s.
Big enough for me to buy it and read it.
Big enough to get four stars.
A beautifully written and philosophical self-help book.
Like Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry Into Values, it's about travelling the expanse to find yourself and figure out what's going on.
It opened up some pathways - never satisfied and believing the grass is always greener. That's the thing about grass; once trampled it's greener back where you came from. You need to water, nurture and look after it every day. Only then does it remain verdant and worthwhile.
